Navan Placepot picks: Robbie Wilders selects the Tuesday perm

There are at least nine runners in every race at Navan, so I'd rather head to Ireland to tackle the Placepot.

New York City wasn't beaten far in the Middle Park last season and will be impossible to kick out of the frame in the opening maiden (2.15). Eddie Lynam's newcomer Creative Power is related to Group 1 winner Slade Power and is also included.

Mogwliwas an impressive scorer at the Curragh on Saturday and can go well again in the 5f handicap (2.50) under a penalty. I also want to select the four-year-old Amazing Emma, who should have more to offer this season.

It is worth considering the well-treated Abstract in the 1m5f handicap (3.25). The Jessica Harrington-trained Derrinlaurshould also be capable of better.

I'm hoping Port Sunlightcan kick off a Dermot Weld double in the following 1m5f handicap (4.00). This well-bred filly can progress again this season.

Stone Age was placed in a Group 1 last campaign and should oblige in the 1m2f maiden (4.35).

Weld can celebrate victory in the final leg (5.10) with Haroya, who we are yet to see the best of.
