Nap of the day: best horse racing tips from Salisbury, Wetherby and Navan

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Salisbury

5.30: Hidden Depths

Although this is his first run since November and last year's reappearance didn't go at all well, the vote goes to Hidden Depths (nap), who has had very different tactics employed on him with success since that reverse. Single looks sure to run well but has won only once from 18 starts. Kentucky Hardboot needs to put his latest run in a jumpers' bumper way behind him but he was short-headed the time before and clearly has more stamina than 2020 Flat campaign over 7f might suggest, so he is feared more. Rahmah is the wild card.

Wetherby

4.10: Many A Star

Abel Handy, Abate, Treble Treble, Look Out Louis and Prince Of Rome all have something to recommend them but none appeals more than Many A Star (nap). Progressive for James Given last summer, there should be more to come from him this year and he still looks on a handy mark.

Navan

2.20: Pretty Smart

Not a great amount to get enthused about here. Top-weight Noirvento is consistent and will be hard to keep out of the frame. The Cola Kid is another consistent sort off the all-weather and is likely to fare well. The choice is Pretty Smart (nap), a dual winner here last year who came home well on her return to action at Dundalk last week.
