Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the seven Saturday meetings
Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Carlisle
1.38: Donladd
The lightly raced Donladd(nap) has made a good start in handicaps and is taken to get off the mark. Oliver Greenall's pair Ace Ventura(second choice) and Fort De L'Ocean are a couple of possible threats, while Shaws Bridge is unexposed now debuting for a yard which has won this race before.
Andrew Sheret
Haydock
1.00: Emmpressive Lady
With the promising Jack Foley easing 7lb from her welter burden there could be a big run in Emmpressive Lady (nap), who did well to keep the much improved Molly Ollys Wishes honest at Kempton when the pair were encouragingly dominant. Sexy Lot has yet another rise in the weights to contend with but these Pipe horses can keep rolling once finding their form and she's feared most, ahead of Midnight Ginger and Misty Bloom.

Musselburgh
1.50: Marshal Dan
The handicapper may have taken a liberty with Eton College's turf mark as he's now 4lb lower than for a ready win at Leicester in September, his last appearance on grass. A revival would come as no surprise but there are two very live dangers in Stone Soldier, himself potentially well in back on turf, and Marshal Dan (nap). The selection won well here in October and that form suggests this 4lb higher mark should be well within range.
Paul Smith
Fairyhouse
4.40: Party Central
Beaten a neck by the promising Grangee in a Grade 2 event at Leopardstown, Party Central (nap) gets the vote to uphold form with fourth-placed Brooklynn Glory. First-time-out winners Limerick Lace and Shuil Valentine are of definite interest.
Alan Sweetman
Cork
4.20: Princess Zoe
Even with a Group 1 penalty to shoulder, Princess Zoe (nap) can still take care of these on the first step towards a possible tilt at the Arc this year. Mighty Blue is fit from hurdling and can give her most to do, while Yaxeni can get a piece of the action too.
Tyrone Molloy
Newton Abbot
6.00: Game Line
C&D winners Game Line (nap) and Calin Du Brizais are the top two on the shortlist, with Golden Poet third choice. Game Line has solid claims on recent form and he gets the vote.
Steve Boow
Wolverhampton
7.00: Captain St Lucifer
Act Of Magic has been running consistently since joining Alice Haynes, latterly when having Zayriyan and Pilot Wings behind over C&D three weeks ago, and he'll be well fancied to defy a small rise in the weights and confirm superiority. The vote, though, goes to Captain St Lucifer (nap), who tumbled down the weights last year and showed much more in the cheekpieces/tongue tie on his comeback.
