Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Sunday selections from Nottingham, Fakenham and the Curragh

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Curragh

2.40: Broome

Unbeaten in five starts over this trip, effective on soft ground and the stable-selected here, Broome can gain Group 1 honours. Dual Irish St Leger winner, Search For A Song, coped with soft when second to Trueshan at Ascot last October and has race-fitness on her side here after a good Navan run. Shock Derby winner Serpentine
and Melbourne Cup second Tiger Moth should be watched with interest on reappearance.
Alan Sweetman

Fakenham

5.20: Begin The Luck

The unexposed 5yo Begin The Luck has won his last two and his latest form received a boost when the runner-up went one better next time. He can land the hat-trick. Phoenix Dawn is feared most in the expectation that he will strip fitter for a recent run on the Flat, although cases can be made for most of these and Roar and Theocrat are also respected.
Ben Hutton

Nottingham

4.35: Boundless Power

A confirmed front-runner in the field would have been handy for the strong-travelling Boundless Power who has proved so well suited by the return to 5f of late, but he should still be good enough to make the most of what looks a still-favourable mark. In-form Stake Acclaim looks the main danger though there is still time for Bomb Proof to live up to his earlier promise now back at 5f with a tongue-tie on.
