Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings
Picks at Lingfield, Musselburgh and Wolverhampton
Lingfield
2.00: Calico
All four of those who contested a valuable Sandown handicap this month are capable of better as they all raced towards the unfavoured inside of the track (first three home raced wider). Miss Heritage may again prove best of them and she can provide most danger to Calico (nap), who has plenty going for him even off top weight.
Jonathan Neesom
Musselburgh
1.15: Broadway Joe
Although Just Call Me Al is well handicapped over fences and comes here after a good run last time, this can go to Broadway Joe (nap), who is two from two over fences and is likely to improve again.
Colin Russell
Wolverhampton
6.30: Umm Hurair
Habitual hard-puller Canagat is back on a competitive mark and drawn to attack, but he'll be vulnerable over this longest trip to date unless settling better and this is essentially all about Umm Hurair (nap), who won easily on her handicap debut over C&D this month and remains open to plenty of improvement. Bearwith is another to consider back on Tapeta.
