Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chelmsford

7.00: Laheg

The candidate with the most potential is LAHEG who probably needed his reappearance before shaping well at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. Today's drop in distance should be ideal and he's selected to get the better of the in-form Cooperation, with Secret Moment, Twilight Madness and Silver Kitten also considered.
Richard O'Brien

Cheltenham

2.05: The Hollow Ginge

Do not be disturbed by the most recent form figures of THE HOLLOW GINGE as this is the time to catch him. In his first completed starts for the past two seasons he has finished fourth in Newbury's big November handicap and a close second in this 12 months ago, off higher marks on both occasions. Captain Cattistock, armed with assured stamina and a good course record, heads the dangers along with Coeur Serein.
Alistair Jones

Doncaster

4.10: Lullaby Bay

Having been denied a clear run when fifth in a handicap at Redcar two starts ago, LULLABY BAY ran a cracker when beaten a nose in a conditions race at Musselburgh 12 days ago, and she can go one better here. Three-length York winner Kimngrace is unexposed in the cheekpieces and on soft ground and is feared most, with old rival Vintage Clarets next on the list. Designer and Count D'Orsay could also be involved.
Ben Hutton

Kelso

2.15: Domandlouis

In quite an interesting race for the grade the suggestion is chasing debutant DOMANDLOUIS, who has had the form of his course hurdle win in May very well advertised by the second, third and fourth since. Get With It comes here in good form and is second choice, although it won't be a surprise if Voyburg quickly puts his early mishap at Huntingdon behind him.
Chris Wilson

Leopardstown

1.25: Pink Sorrel

There was plenty to like about PINK SORREL's debut and with that form working out well, (runner-up a Group 3 winner since), she could be hard to beat. The well bred Wedding Bouquet is an interesting newcomer but stablemate High Chieftess could be the main danger back down in trip.
Phill Anderson

Newbury

4.15: Dual Identity

A useful handicap. It was a cracking effort from DUAL IDENTITY to come clear on his side in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket so he gets the vote. Mujtaba (second choice) was a few places behind the selection when sent off favourite at Newmarket but he could get closer to him back on softer ground. Magisterial is a fascinating contender back from a summer break, while fellow 3yo Natural World is unlikely to be too far away if recapturing the form he showed in a strong handicap in July.
