Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Bellewstown

6.40: Jarvis

The ultra-consistent Curraheen Princess and talented topweight Harmony Rose have leading chances, however previous C&D winner Jarvis has been consistent since his victory here in April and is somehow 1lb lower than that last winning mark. He will take the beating.
Justin O'Hanlon

Catterick

2.00: Tanzanite

Topweight Man Made Of Smoke (second choice) didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fifth here last time so warrants plenty of respect, along with My Honey B and Stephenie's Saga. However, Tanzanite can race off the same mark as when an excellent second here from a wide draw nine days ago and holds leading claims.

Lingfield

3.10: Silver Dollar

Plenty have possibilities but the vote goes to the generally progressive 4yo Silver Dollar, who made it 3-7 on AW with his brave win from a tough draw over C&D two weeks ago. Thapa Vc recorded his fifth 7f AW win when scoring here last month and he's feared most, ahead of Papa Cocktail, who has gone close over C&D in his last two runs including off this mark last Monday. Others who could have a big part to play are Ford Madox Brown and Under The Twilight.
David Moon

Kempton

6.00: The Mouse King

Non Stop and Bulleit are respected opponents but The Mouse King bolted up in a good time at Southwell ten days ago and he can make light of his 6lb penalty.
Paul Smith

Musselburgh

5.00: Bicep

Both the last-time winners look well in despite their penalties but preference is for Bicep who was suited by the step up to 7f over C&D last week and is open to improvement at the trip. Jilly Cooper is favoured most of the rest, with Iris Dancer's small but solid portfolio of efforts at the trip advertising her place claims.
Jeremy Grayson

Sedgefield

7.20: Larry Looby

Kauto D'Amour bounced back to form and ran well in defeat at Market Rasen last month, while Aye Aye Charlie (second choice) is very well suited by this sort of trip on a sharp, left-handed track. However, Larry Looby has thrived in recent weeks and is taken to extend his winning spree.
