Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings
Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Hereford
2.45: Isle Of Aron
Some of the main candidates have met previously, namely the smooth-travelling Roger Rarebit and Navegaon Gate in addition to the Exeter rivals Isle Of Aron and Gyllen. The selection was a winner over hurdles at Ayr earlier in the year and appeared to relish returning to this discipline last time. Of the remainder, Unspeakable is a potentially interesting handicap debutant.
Mark Rowntree
Lingfield
2.00: Tara Iti
There should be a big run in Tara Iti on this return to 2m, having appeared to find a longer trip beyond him at Fontwell. Green Planet should really be winning races off his mark and, despite a lengthy spell out of action, he's the second choice. Heure De Gloire and Begin The Luck are also on the shortlist.

Taunton
1.23: Flying Verse
Top of the list is the versatile hat-trick seeker Flying Verse, who has won over 2m6f at Stratford and 3m7f at Musselburgh in his last two starts. He's only 1lb higher than for that last success and remains very well treated on his old form. Tim Vaughan's Trixster is still lightly raced over fences and he's feared most on his drop back in grade. The other one on the shortlist is Some Detail, who is a thorough stayer but his last success came over 2m7f at this track.
David Moon
Fairyhouse
1.07: Jazzy Matty
John McConnell's French import Jackpot De Choisel was an expensive purchase and is potentially very interesting. However, the hurdling experience gained by fellow French recruit Jazzy Matty may prove crucial. He has the beating of stablemate By Your Side on Navan running. Eighty Eight is one who could take to hurdling well.
Alan Sweetman
Dundalk
5.45: Blue News
It's a solid standard that is set by Blue News who hit the frame again here last time and with the prospect of him improving for this trip, he's the one to beat. Cyber Attack is another that ran well here last time and tries a mile for the first time and Head Of State is the newcomer to keep an eye on in the market.
Phill Anderson
Wolverhampton
6.00: Cailin Saoirse
A 7lb rise demands more from Cailin Saoirse but she's weighted to confirm placings with subsequent winner River Chorus and looks up to completing a course-and-distance hat-trick. Laoch Gach La has shown enough without seeing out the extended mile here the past twice to rate the main danger, while Pessoa is worth keeping an eye on among the likely bigger prices.
