Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings

Chepstow, Cork, Doncaster, Kilbeggan, Perth, Sandown and Worcester bets

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chepstow

6.05: Arthur's Reuben

Shattered Glass is still quite lightly raced and has been shaping as though his turn might be near but the most obvious answer is Arthur's Reuben (nap), who won over 2m7f here two starts ago and is ahead of the handicapper after a good run in defeat at Huntingdon last week. Meanwhile, Golden Poet is on a good mark now and his latest run hinted at a possible return to form.
Chris Wilson

Cork

5.15: Benkogambit

The rider's claim will help to take the sting out of the 5lb rise handed to Benkogambit (nap) for his Gowran third. He has been consistent and may cope with a likely challenge from Colin Keane's mount International Lady, whose Dundalk runs have been encouraging. Abogadoshas a chance on his best juvenile form. Miss March is a potential dark-horse.
Alan Sweetman

Doncaster

4.00: Molly Shaw

Clegane is a player in this company back on turf, despite the drop back in trip, but the one that appeals most is Molly Shaw (nap). Chris Wall has his team in good form and this unexposed sort, who won twice over this trip last year, is the sort to do better this time round. Dandys Gold may prove best of the remainder.

Kilbeggan

4.55: Powerful Ted

An open handicap hurdle. Toms Courage and Rock On Seamie both come into the race in good form and Dawsons Cottage runs well fresh, but two potentially well-handicapped horses might pave the way here. Silvertown makes appeal off a mark of 104 and should have improvement in him over hurdles, but the one to make most appeal is Powerful Ted (nap), not seen since finishing third in a Leopardstown premier handicap last September and could be thrown in here.
Justin O'Hanlon

Perth

3.15: Kakamora

There may be more to come from Gunsight Ridge, who looks weighted to the hilt but still retains low mileage. Kakamora (nap) enters handicaps but such was the manner of his Huntingdon success last time that this return to 2m4f on a sound surface may simply accelerate his present rate of improvement. Fugitives Drift, with trip and ground to suit again, appeals most of the rest.
Jeremy Grayson

Sandown

1.50: Tawaareq

Provided he doesn't get so warm following a gelding operation, Tawaareq (nap) may well be the answer to a typically interesting renewal of this useful contest. He is well worth another chance judged on the strength of his maiden form. Second choice Ilza'Eem and third choice Rifleman are similar types who look likely to progress well in handicaps. Dingle completes the shortlist but a few others are also unexposed and hard to dismiss.
Steve Boow

Worcester

4.35: Agent Valdez

Two last-time-out winners to consider, and three of the others arrive on the back of promising performances. Top of the list is Agent Valdez (nap), who made all in good style at Sedgefield a fortnight ago and is taken to follow up. Always Able is feared most on her second chase start and first outing for the in-form Matt Sheppard. Cushuish, Theatre Mix and Miss Antipova could also feature.
