Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Catterick

1.55: Liv Lucky

The three-year-old Liv Lucky was a good second at Hamilton last Thursday and earns the vote in a race that may not take much winning. C&D winner Ginato returned to form when fourth here last time out and is feared most, while the well-handicapped Wade's Magic and last year's winner Sfumato can't be ruled out.
Ben Hutton

Leicester

8.55: Snap Ambush

An opening mark of 72 may well underestimate the Prescott filly Snap Ambush, who looks just the type to blossom now handicapping and upped in distance. She'll be all the more interesting if the market speaks in her favour. Moonlit Cloud (second choice) is a major player on recent form and still unexposed at 1m2f, while Playday and See The Sea also need a mention.
Steve Boow

Limerick

7.15: Chinx Of Light

This looks a decent novice. Chinx Of Light could be difficult to beat after being touched off on chasing debut at Kilbeggan recently. Siberian Prince and Tullybeg will find it tough to give him 6lb. Mi Lighthouse could be a bigger danger, having won easily at Tramore last time.
Tyrone Molloy

Lingfield

1.00: Adelisa

Preference is for Adelisa, who turned things around when landing a gamble under an attacking ride at Kempton two weeks ago. She's 6lb higher but remains well treated on her old form in Ireland and may well be able to dominate again to make to 2-2 for her new yard. Habanero Star has won on turf in three of her last four runs and is a big danger if she can transfer her form back to AW. Another to keep an eye on is Dewey Road, who is on dangerous mark with cheekpieces added on his first run for Mick Appleby. David Moon

Naas

7.00: Mauiewowie

Treasure Trove has solid form against very good juveniles, while Ardad's Great should go close if reproducing her Tipperary form. Preference is for Mauiewowie who looked to have terrific potential when winning over C&D last time and looks well capable of stepping up in grade.
Justin O'Hanlon

Sandown

7.38: Rogue Rocket

Colour Image staged his revival by prevailing in a good scrap at Bath. Preference, however, is for the lightly raced 3yo Rogue Rocket, who did the job with little fuss on his handicap debut, looking as if he had more in the tank. Love Dreams is third on the list. Richard Austen

Southwell

3.30: Amalfi Salsa

It wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see a better effort from either Alwajd or Imperial Eclipse here. Both performed below market expectations in recent starts when better appears to have been expected. Amalfi Salsa looks a safer option, though, even though she would prefer them to go a good pace up front. She did it nicely under Morgan Cole at Chelmsford eight days ago and may well follow up if this race pans out her way. Chantreys (second choice) may need a stiffer test now, but is still a big player on recent efforts. David Bellingham
