Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Wednesday selections from Haydock, Ffos Las, Ludlow and Dundalk

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

7.00: Incrimination

The potential shown by Incrimination on her winning debut suggests that she can cope with the 95-rated colt Exquisite Acclaim whose greater experience is an asset. Unconquerable Keen looks the pick of the remainder, though Gorgeous Star is one who may improve.
Alan Sweetman

Ffos Las

3.40: Shah An Shah

Preference is for Charlie Longsdon's strong stayer Shah An Shah, who has turned things around with good seconds in his last two runs and remains well treated on his best hurdle form. D'Jango made a bold bid when runner-up off a reduced mark at Wincanton two weeks ago and he's feared most. Third choice is Lightonthewing, who is back below his winning mark and looks interesting if he can find some extra spark.

Haydock

1.35: Soldier Of Destiny

A warm little race featuring some progressive novices. Having won over 2m3f at Ffos Las last month, Soldier Of Destiny travelled well over 2m7f at Newbury last time, where he had been joined when making a bad mistake at the final fence, and he can make amends now back down in distance. Brief Ambition is 2-2 over fences and is feared most on his return from a break, with fellow hat-trick-seeker Burrows Diamond next on the list.
Ben Hutton

Ludlow

4.05: Guy

He's not yet proven over this far but Guy has posted some good efforts in defeat this season and is taken to double his chasing tally. As You Like has been absent since last summer and is getting rather long in the tooth but his record when fresh reads well.
Chris Wilson
