Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Thursday's day's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Worcester

5.20: Iberio

There are plenty of interesting contenders in this competitive race but the vote goes to Iberio, who made it 2-2 in handicaps with his stylish win at Taunton in March and is open to more improvement this season. Ben Pauling's hat-trick seeker Hardy Boy is feared most on his return, although Gris Majeur did well to win a 2m5f Ludlow novice in May and looks interesting on his handicap debut. The others on the shortlist are Kingofthewest and Petty Cash.
David Moon

Stratford

3.15: Moonlighter

Talented hurdler Midnight River still has time to get his act together over fences and could be up to winning this. However, Moonlighter is taken to cash in on a very lenient mark on his first run for Kim Bailey. Pencreek has shot up the weights but may prove good enough to take third.

Lingfield

4.00: Crystal Caprice

Oscula is respected back at Listed level, as is Internationalangel (second choice) who has a good strike-rate on the all-weather and ran well in a Newmarket Group 2 last time. However, there may well be more to come from the progressive three-year-old Crystal Caprice and her breeding suggests she should have no problem with this switch to the all-weather. Crenelle and Queen Aminatu are others to consider.
David Bellingham

Clonmel

4.05: Good World

Having won in some style at Tipperary, Good World can follow up off an 8lb higher mark under his talented claiming rider. Hat-trick seeking Winning Rascal is an obvious danger but may not be suited by this softer ground, while top-weight Ballykeel is one who should appreciate the prevailing ground conditions.
Alan Hewison

Chelmsford

5.30: Concert Boy

The rematch between New Definition and Casamigos could go either way, with the latter open to progress back on all-weather. They are the leading form contenders but look hard to split. Concert Boy and Muy Muy Guapo are the two suggestions against the field, as they should improve for this surface judged on breeding, especially the former.
