Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Fancies from Dundalk, Hexham, Kempton, Lingfield and Wolverhampton

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

5.15: Adamaris

Having run well on his most recent visit to this track, Adamaris (nap) gets the vote and Jake Coen's 7lb claim could prove decisive. Handicap debutant Gudrid will be a danger if she stays this trip and the lightly-weighted French Company is another to consider after returning to form last time.
Mark Nunan

Hexham

2.50: Vengeur De Guye

This looks likely to chiefly involve those higher in the handicap and topweight Vengeur De Guye (nap) is taken to benefit from this drop in grade, with conditions likely to suit. Llantara goes well fresh and may prove next best, while Ettila De Sivola is much respected. An on-song Halcyon Days would also be competitive.
Jonathan Doidge

Kempton

7.00: Mudlahhim

An interesting and useful handicap in which the early part of the race could prove decisive. Mehmento, Bellosa and Marshal Dan all like to get on with it and each has the ability to take this if able to get an easy time of it up front. Bellosa is particularly interesting back from a break as she looked hugely promising earlier in the year. May Night is on the up and has to be considered while these conditions bring out the best in Diocles Of Rome. None appeals more than Mudlahhim (nap) though, with the ex-Irish 5yo having created a very favourable impression when landing a gamble over C&D on his stable debut in August. A 3lb rise looks very fair and he can provide Mia Biggs with her second winner.
Paul Smith

Lingfield

3.30: Brorson

A cracking contest for the grade with plenty of possibilities. Handicap debutants Blackjack Magic and Its Gonnahappen could be well treated while Ffos Las faller Sermando will be a real threat if none the worse for that. He could prove the danger to Brorson (nap), who has been crying out for a longer trip and can gain a first success over hurdles.
Jonathan Neesom

Wolverhampton

3.10: Daany

A case can be made for a few of these but it's hard to side against Daany (nap), who has thrived since joining Adam West and comes here unpenalised for his stylish Lingfield apprentice handicap success last week. Fellow Lingfield scorer Coolagh Magic is next up, with both Abnaa and Always Dreaming on the shortlist too.
