Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Friday fancies from Ballinrobe, Chester, Doncaster, Salisbury and Sandown

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Ballinrobe

5.35:Abbey Magic

This looks like a good opportunity for Abbey Magic who has improved steadily since joining Henry de Bromhead in 2018 and she is probably very well handicapped on her return to this sphere from her much reduced hurdles mark. Fame And Joy was impressive last time out and any rain would be in her favour but the in-form Whatucallher is probably the main danger after a big run again last time.
Phill Anderson

Chester

3.25: Nebulosa

The slow start she made when second at Sandown last time is a slight concern but Nebulosa travelled like a filly on a good mark on that occasion and can go one better now. Last year's runner-up Gabrial The Devil (second choice) and course specialist Revich head the dangers.

Naps table: daily tipping selections from national newspaper experts

Doncaster

2.10: Armor

The Hannon stable has won this four times since 2010 and Armor has the best form, having won the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes by just over 3l. He didn't quite see out 6f when fourth in the Group 1 Prix Morny last time and can return to winning ways now back down in distance. Attagirl beat Caturra in a York Listed race last time but the runner-up is 5lb better off for half a length and could be the main threat to the selection. Chipotle, The Organiser and Corazon are others who could run well.
Ben Hutton

Salisbury

5.15: Banana

This mark is surely within range for Rosa Mystica, who was well backed when coming away with an unexposed winner on the AW last weekend, but Banana is open to more improvement after a solid effort recently when back from four months off and looks the one to be with.
Graham Wheldon

Sandown

2.30:Kettle Hill

Several of these could be ahead of their marks. With a bit more luck, Kettle Hill could be chasing a hat-trick and he may now gain compensation for narrow defeats at York and Ripon. The list of dangers is headed by Farasi Lane, 2-2 at Sandown, while The Turpinator and Huddleton Mac are lightly raced and open to progress. You're Hired is solid and Carolus Magnus would be dangerous if getting an easy lead.
