Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings
Sunday selections for Bath, Chelmsford, Curragh, Haydock and Musselburgh

Bath
3.20: Beowulf
After two comfortable wins at Ffos Las this summer, Beowulf looked rather unlucky not to complete his hat-trick when denied a clear run at Newbury last time. He competes off the same mark again here and remains very much of interest. Yanifer was slightly disappointing when last in action but, in general terms, has done very well in recent months. He could be dangerous if suited by today's step up in trip.
Chris Wilson
Chelmsford
3.45: Boomshalaa
Crimson Sand won't give up his unbeaten AW record without a fight but Boomshalaa and Dream Composer will provide stiffer resistance today. Both suffered troubled passages when placed at Royal Ascot and have been slightly disappointing in one run since but they retain plenty of potential. Clear preference is for Boomshalaa, who created a very positive impression on his previous AW start.

Curragh
3.30: Homeless Songs
Several of these met here last time when Agartha made all to gain the second Group win of her career. However, they might not give her an easy time of things on the front end this time and it may be worth chancing Homeless Songs. Dermot Weld's filly had Agartha in behind when running a huge race on debut at Leopardstown and with the likelihood she will take a decent step forward from that, she might be able to confirm the form. Sunset Shiraz is one to be interested in if the rain arrives.
Phill Anderson
Haydock
4.35: Macho Pride
The 3yo Macho Pride ticks lots of boxes, as Haydock has brought out the best in him this year and this C&D winner will appreciate the step back up in trip, having been outpaced when a creditable fifth over 5f here last time. Jordan Electrics was running really well over 6f prior to a lesser run over Musselburgh's speedy 5f last time, and he is second choice now back up in distance. The consistent Prince Of Abington is next on the list, with Be Proud, Ancient Times and Grant Tuer's pair Tommy Taylor and Lezardrieux others who could run well.
Ben Hutton
Musselburgh
5.20: Ravenscraig Castle
Iain Jardine is thinking outside the box with recognised sprinter Kraken Power and he's tough to recommend, but the other four are all in career-best form. Whereas The Vegas Raider and Haizoom have been progressing at a lower level, Ravenscraig Castle held his own in a typically tough Melrose at York. Vino Victrix is the second choice.
