Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Friday tips for Cheltenham, Dundalk, Kempton, Newcastle and Worcester

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Cheltenham

1.45: Stolen Silver

Market Rasen scorer STOLEN SILVER still looks well handicapped and is capable of further progress over fences. He gets the vote over last year's winner Magic Saint, with the improving Kap Auteuil third choice ahead of Editeur Du Gite.
Steve Boow

Dundalk

6.45: Kartayaz

He's still a maiden but KARTAYAZ is well handicapped on some of last year's form and ran a belter here last week when only beaten one length. He's taken to get the better of Fryerns who should appreciate the return to this trip and Clatter Bang who has been in good form here of late.
Phill Anderson

Kempton

7.00: Bandinelli

Sleeping Lion has proved himself over course-and-distance and could be much more potent again on his return to the all-weather, so he is second on the list to BANDINELLI who looks a good prospect for this longer trip and ran well at this track 16 days ago. Uber Cool has mostly been in very good form over staying trips on turf and will be a serious player if he takes to this surface.
Richard Austen

Newcastle

12.20: Greengage

Although Cuban Hope may have been fortunate to win over course-and-distance last time, he is still a contender from just 3lb higher, but this can go to GREENGAGE. A three-time winner over course-and-distance, the mare looked unlucky not to go close here last time and with a clear run she can get back on the scoresheet. Like the selection, Dreams Unwind has enjoyed a good year and having run well in her only previous AW start she is feared the most.
David Bellingham

Worcester

12.30: Head On

A few of these are unexposed over fences but it's still hard to get away from dual course-and-distance winner HEAD ON, who has displayed significant improvement since switched to handicap chases in the summer and is ahead of the handicapper under a penalty for his recent Warwick success. Cardboard Gangster ran well in an Irish hunter chase in the spring and is perhaps the most interesting alternative, ahead of Tallow For Coal.
