Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Brighton

12.30: Bezzas Lad

Bama Lama arrives in super form but she will probably need a career-best to complete a hat-trick and the suggestion is to stick with another last-time winner in Bezzas Lad (nap). Tony Carroll's runner put up a career best last time, is proven on soft ground and might have a touch more class. Spreadsheet is much respected although yet to race on soft.
Jonathan Doidge

Galway

1.45: Perry Owens

Eoin Walsh rode two winners at Gowran towards the end of last week and can keep up the good work on Perry Owens (nap), whose staying-on third at Listowel suggests he will be suited by this trip. Punters Poet can probably reverse previous course form with Son Of Hypos. Fancy A Cosmo and Present Road lack hurdling experience but could go well.
Alan Sweetman

Huntingdon

5.20: Champagne Noir

With a repeat of his Uttoxeter effort Champagne Noir (nap) could take a bit of beating back at the scene of his sole success. Blue Sans is just preferred to Presenting Yeats for second choice.
Alistair Jones

Kempton

6.30: Quilted

An interesting handicap in which City Tour appears to have the best proven AW form, but there are a couple of potential improvers up against him. Going Gone is clearly a player having escaped a penalty for his easy Epsom win nine days ago, but preference is for Quilted (nap) who can make a successful all-weather and handicap debut. This well-bred filly remains open to plenty more improvement and her pedigree suggests she should handle the surface.
David Bellingham

Leicester

2.47: Liberation Point

Having shown last time on his handicap debut that he stays 1m2f well, the very lightly raced Liberation Point (nap) can take another step up the ladder to go one better. His potential earns him the vote, even though there is plenty of good form among this rivals. Croeso Cymraeg may emerge as the chief threat, ahead of Irish Legend and Pied Piper.
Richard Austen
