Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chelmsford

7.30: La Roca Del Fuego

Everything looks in place for La Roca Del Fuego to add to his four course wins after a back-to-form effort last time, with stall five ideal for one happiest off the sharp end and Rose Dawes knocking off 7lb. Yimou, who's on a handy mark and has had excuses of late, is next best, while much with the quirky Expert Opinion will hinge on how he reacts to a switch in headgear.
Graham Wheldon

Leicester

2.17: Somewhat Cloudy

There should be a big run in Somewhat Cloudy, who showed signs of rediscovering the form of her maiden win when running well for a long way on testing ground at Carlisle. Dollar Bae bumped into a talented mare at Ludlow and she's of interest now handicapping, while Encashment won't be far away if getting round this time.
Alistair Jones

Market Rasen

2.40: Future Benefits

Point winner Future Benefits showed improved form to win on his recent chase debut at Newcastle and is taken to make it 2-2 over fences. The very lightly six-year-old Moore On Tour was third on his sole point start and is an interesting contender now sent straight over fences for his handicap debut. He's second choice ahead of Ballinslea Bridge and Shanbally Rose.

Thurles

2.02: Innatendue

Experience could count for plenty here and Innatendue sets a decent standard which could see him home. No Looking Back is very interesting now switched to hurdles, while Hands Of Gold and Jeepydoff Meel both showed enough on their respective hurdle debuts to suggest they can win a maiden.
Alan Hewison

Wincanton

1.55: Shutupshirley

Robert Walford's five-year-old Shutupshirley opened his account with a very comfortable win at Exeter 11 days ago and will be very difficult to beat under his 7lb penalty if in similar form here. Harry's Hottie, The Wise Traveller and What's My Line were all last-time-out winners too but Farceur De Maulne comes here after a good third at Ffos Las in October and may provide the main threat to the selection.
