Jockey Danny Mullins, whose tally of 37 wins this term has already surpassed his previous best mark of 28 achieved last season. can add a couple more to his tally at Tramore today – and his mother Mags provides him with his best chance aboard topweight Sweet Shirleen in the 2m5f handicap hurdle (1.55)

Placed in six of her eight starts, the Kris Kin mare has taken on some smart opponents from top stables in bumpers and maiden hurdles. Gordon Elliott's Three Swallowsnick, who she chased home in a Wexford bumper in October, was unbeaten until going lame when odds-on for a maiden hurdle at Navan last Saturday, while Noel Meade's Rathnure Rebel, who beat her at Clonmel, scored again when stepping up to Grade 3 company at Cork on Sunday.

The trainer could hardly be in better form, sending out three winning favourites from her last four runners.
