The glory days for John Oxx will not return easily, but his horses have been running well and a couple have shown promise of late, this one in particular.

Making his debut in a Killarney maiden, he was held up at the back of the field and was struggling to stay in contention in the second half of the race, but in the last two furlongs he began to make headway and kept on well to the line. He was six lengths off the runner-up, but it was still an eyecatching run and one that can only be improved upon.
