As a five-time Grade 1-winning mare Apple's Jade clearly has solid claims in the Grade 2 Lismullen Hurdle, but if there is a day to get the better of Gordon Elliott's star it could be this Sunday.

Although the flying five-year-old won on her Irish debut despite an absence, she progresses significantly for her first run after a break. She was turned over on her first start for Elliott last season after 188 days off at Down Royal and again at Punchestown after a break of 80 days in February.
