The presence of Road To Riches makes today's renewal of Thetote.com Galway Plate even more fascinating than normal and I could not put anyone off backing him.

The 2014 champion is back to try and regain his crown and Noel Meade reports him to be as good, if not better, that ever. If that is the case then he could prove a class above his rivals and the fact Bryan Cooper rides instead of claimer Donagh Meyler suggests the Road To Riches team think they have a bit up their sleeve.

The only problem with Road To Riches is the price. Backing a horse at 4-1 who has such a big weight and comes into the race on the back of such a crashing fall does not appeal to me and I would rather look lower down the list.
