What they say: 'He's brilliant, he's mega and I'm chuffed to bits with him'
Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup (Grade 1) | 3m2½f, 5yo+ | Cheltenham, March 17
Gordon Elliott, trainer of Conflated
He's a very good horse on his day and I was delighted with the way he won the Savills Chase at Leopardstown. Jack [Kennedy] looked in control the whole way there. He never missed a beat. The obvious next race for him would be the Irish Gold Cup, a race he won so impressively last year. We'll see how he is over the next few weeks before making a final decision on that. The Cheltenham Gold Cup is very much on our radar for him this season.
Willie Mullins, trainer of Galopin Des Champs and Stattler
There is every chance Galopin Des Champs will run in the Irish Gold Cup next. He relaxed in the John Durkan, which was great to see, and has been in good form since. Stattler had a tough race at Tramore and we'll have a think about where he might go next. We were very pleased with the run, however.
