With the Flat track at Sligo sustaining enough damage during their fixture two weeks ago to force an abandonment, Tipperary steps into the breech to stage a tricky eight-race card this evening, dominated by handicaps.

The opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Claiming Maiden for juveniles (4.50) looks a good opportunity for the Paddy Twomey-trained Member State to get off the mark.

His debut at Galway last month could hardly have been more promising given how the race has turned out. He raced very keenly but travelled deep into the race before getting tired in the closing stages, finishing just over four lengths behind Right Honourable in fourth.
