McCabe Creek can get off to a flyer in new discipline

All jumps fans are looking forward to tomorrow's return of Cheltenham, but there are three cards to whet the appetite this afternoon and no Flat action getting in the way with Chelmsford not starting until much later.

It's not Cheltenham quality, but there are some fair races to get involved in, particularly at Ludlow, which routinely puts other tracks of similar standing to shame with the amount of prize money on offer.

It's no surprise the most valuable race of the day takes place at the Shropshire track and even though it's a novice handicap chase with three horses yet to tackle fences, there could be a fair bet in it.
