Manjaam capable of another step forward

This lightly raced three-year-old has won four of his last six outings and landed a hot race at Ascot last time. That contest has thrown up several subsequent winners including third-placed Dal Harraild, who now isn't far off Group class.

Manjaam showed a good attitude to score by a head that day and looks fairly treated after a 5lb rise, especially as he has reportedly been outworking his older stablemate, the classy Oasis Fantasy, at home.

His last two turf wins have come on good to firm ground, so the fact the rain has stayed away is a positive, and Frankie Dettori is booked for his first ride on the colt. Ed Dunlop's string have been in decent form all season and it is worth taking the 14-1 on offer.
