Burning up the gallops

Sacred Dance (2.45 Doncaster)

Ran well on debut when third to Rhea at Haydock last month and fancied to collect after some decent work at Moulton Paddocks.
David Milnes

Eyecatcher

Celtic Manor (4.30 Doncaster)

Won a novice stakes at Windsor on his seasonal bow over 5f last month, where he came in for strong support. This extra furlong should suit and and opening mark of 76 looks fair.
Raceform

Ace Tipster

London Protocol (2.10 Doncaster)

Disappointing on both starts this season but has dropped to a mark 8lb lower than when successful on heavy ground at Carlisle last year and the return to a testing surface could spark him back to form.
Graeme Rodway

Irish Angle

In A Pinch (2.55 Downpatrick)

Returned from 12 months off to win well at Tramore 15 days ago. Going for four in a row in handicap hurdles and, although 9lb higher than last time, has sound claims with good 7lb claimer on board.
Tony O'Hehir

Speed figures

Archer's Dream (4.10 Salisbury)

Officially has a bit to find but has won both starts in style. Upped in class but the hands of the clock point to her retaining her unbeaten record.
Dave Edwards

Spotlight nap

Maid In Manhattan (5.35 Doncaster)

Soundly beaten over hurdles on last month's stable debut but two from two on the Flat since. Won at Wetherby over 2m on good to firm and at Nottingham over 1m6f on heavy. Easily drew nine lengths clear last time and commands respect under 5lb penalty.
Ben Hutton

Dark horse

Bowson Fred (3.55 Doncaster)

Disappointing last time when tried in first-time headgear, but well backed when runner-up the time before and could bounce back off a favourable mark on ground that suits.
Simon Giles

Must-have stat of the day

Jane Elliott has five wins and three places from just 14 rides at Doncaster in the last three seasons, for a level-stakes profit of £25. Her one ride at the track is Well Funded for James Bethell in the fillies' handicap at 5.35.
