Lingfield Placepot tips: Phill Anderson with his perm for the all-weather venue

Adelisa got back in the winner's enclosure on debut for Kevin Philippart de Foy at Kempton a fortnight ago and, given that she's still well handicapped on the pick of her form for Joseph O'Brien last year, she appears to be a solid option in the opener (1.00).

It was a nice handicap debut from Clear To Land at Beverley last week when chasing home a short-priced favourite and it's hard to see her out of the frame in what looks a weak nursery (1.35).

The Selling Handicap (2.10) might be the trickiest leg of the Placepot with just seven runners. Fascinating Lips has a more solid profile than most of his rivals, hitting the frame on his last two starts, and his very best form has come on the all-weather, so a switch back to a synthetic surface shouldn't be an issue.

A repeat of Zoom Zoom Babe's latest effort at Ffos Las should put her in the mix and she's preferred to Breckland, who has stamina to prove, as a second selection.

Kaatibb looks ahead of his mark back in a handicap (2.45) after a big run at Ripon last time and there's a chance he will be able to get an uncontested lead in a race with little pace on paper.

It might be worth taking a chance on Big Narstie as a second selection. He was running okay prior to a below-par run at Epsom last time and he's become very well handicapped on old form.

Ischia left her previous form behind when narrowly denied at Windsor last month and that form has been boosted by the winner since. She ought to go well on her handicap debut against more exposed rivals in the fillies' contest (3.20).

In the final leg (3.55), Ocean Ruler should be hard to keep out of the frame after two solid runs here so far this term. The colt represents James Tate who is running at a 50 per cent strike-rate in recent weeks (4-8).

Richard Hughes is another trainer in form and his charge Lost Of Love could be an improver back up in trip at Lingfield, a venue he won at on debut.
