Lingfield Placepot picks: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £100,000 pool

The £100,000 pool guarantee is at Lingfield on Wednesday and so are all of my bets.

I don’t have a strong fancy in the opening 2m handicap (12.20), so it’s worth including two. Recent course winner Reeceltic goes into the perm alongside Arabescato.

The 6f handicap (12.50) is another tough one. With Respect is well handicapped on his old form and shouldn’t be discounted, but Show Me A Sunset has better recent runs and goes in.

The mile novice (1.20) is an open race. Maso Bastie looks sure to improve on his promising debut at Kempton and William Buick is a positive booking. Congresbury rates the next best.

Ruith Le Tu is one of my best bets of the day and is a banker in the mile handicap (1.55), while the Charlie Appleby-trained newcomer Star Guest looks good in the 7f novice (2.25).

Capital Theory was impressive when winning at Chelmsford a couple of weeks ago and is fancied to follow up in the 1m2f handicap (2.55). He is another who goes in as a banker.
