Lingfield Placepot picks: Andrew Cooper's perm for the all-weather fixture
A tricky amateur riders' handicap over 2m (1.10) gets us going and in-form, under Simon Walker, joins Iconic Mover, who produced much his best effort on the Flat at Kempton last time, in the perm.
The widest stall isn't ideal for Ellexis in the 7f fillies' maiden (1.40) but she was a real eyecatcher on her Ascot debut and even a small step forward should suffice.
Two stand out in the 5f maiden (2.10) and, with Alfred Cove switching yards and new connections reaching for headgear, I favour Henry Candy's Heartbreak Lass.
A couple are needed in the Class 6 mile handicap (2.40) and the picks are Kenilworth King, who went down by a nose when favourite on his handicap debut, and Shifter, a recent winner whose latest fourth is working out well.
Under The Twilight is the main selection in the Class 5 7f handicap (3.10) and is included along with Papa Cocktail, who has gone close on both starts since being switched to the all-weather.
The final leg, a Class 6 6f handicap (3.40), looks competitive. Viewfromthestars may not be one for maximum faith, but we only need him to place. Man On A Mission is the other one of interest.
