Cheltenham's season begins this week, but the track will do well to hold a more interesting novice chase than the Dianne Sayer Racing Beignners' Chase (2.25) at Carlisle.

Only five go to post, but they include two Grade 2 hurdle winners in Global Citizen and Midnight Shadow, as well as Brewin'upastorm, who hit the first four in Grade 1s over hurdles at the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals last season.
