Last year's winner bids for repeat in Cork handicap chase

Cork's Pick Six kicks off with a mares' maiden hurdle in which worthwhile form is in very short supply. The long-absent and once-raced Butterhill Rose is an interesting runner for Jessica Harrington. Glebe Girl has obtained a great deal of experience in bumpers, and Getaway Katie may improve for the switch to hurdling.
The second leg, a six-runner novice hurdle, is not easy to solve. Young Turk may prove the pick of a Gigginstown-owned pair, and Minella Beau is a strong contender for Willie Mullins.
Miracle Cure and Theatre Run appear to have the best recent credentials for a 2m handicap hurdle in which a couple of the more appealing candidates on overall form lack the advantage of race-fitness.
