Alan King's four-year-olds could be ahead of the handicapper at Newbury

King had three leading hopes going into last season's Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham and was keen to stress before the race that he couldn't split them. All were well beaten, with Gibralfaro ninth, Sceau Royal 12th and Who Dares Wins 14th, but King didn't have a winner all week and, with hot favourite Yanworth also beaten, his runners just didn't seem to be at their best.

Sceau Royal has already proved that form all wrong, winning twice this season and rising 17lb to a mark of 156. Who Dares Wins and Gibralfaro are rated 140 and also have potential to reach significantly higher if bouncing back to last season's form.
