In midweek I thought Alan King was more likely to run Who Dares Wins in this contest, but he certainly has an able deputy in Gibralfaro who, like his Gerry Feilden-bound stablemate, looks like he's crying out for a step up in trip.

The handicapper did Gibralfaro no favours early last season when giving him a mark of 151 for just two starts (both wins) in small fields, but he soon dropped him and he's now on a more manageable mark of 140.
