The action is competitive on the second day of Killarney's five-day festival, especially in the Flat handicaps, and the one to make most appeal is the Sheila Lavery-trained Njord, who runs in the mile Flesk Handicap (6.20).
This gelded son of Roderic O'Connor failed to cut much ice last season, but he has been progressive in handicaps this year and was a comfortable winner off a mark of 63 at Gowran in May.
