Kempton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his perm for the £100,000 fixture

Kempton is the £100,000 Placepot guarantee meeting on Wednesday and the opening 6f nursery (4.20) looks a good race for a banker because Bedazzling should justify short odds.

Only seven runners and two places will be on offer in the 6f novice (4.50), but it will be disappointing if Brewing can’t take one of them. He was impressive at Newcastle first time.

Champion jockey William Buick makes the trip for just three rides and Whispering Dream can get him off to a winning start in the 7f fillies’ novice (5.20). She rates another banker.

Buick takes the ride on the newcomer Laser Guided for Simon and Ed Crisford in division one of the mile novice (5.55). He goes in alongside the experienced Bauhinia Rhapsody.

Division two (6.30) is a tricky one with little form to go on. John and Thady Gosden saddle Mostabshir, who could go well on his debut. Tadshin rates the best alternative for Roger Varian.

The mile nursery (7.00) is a tight-knit race and, with only two places on offer, it’s worth including a couple of runners. Maxi King and Monopolise are the pair who appeal most.
