Ffos Las is the only turf meeting on Friday, so expect a bigger than average pool.

It is a card with relatively few opportunities for a banker, so those are taken wherever they can be found and the opening two races, both restricted to mares, fit the bill. Martha Brae and Miss Zip are unlikely to knock out loads of the pool, but needs must.

After that, breathe out a little. The 3.25 requires a lot of guesswork, but two with tangible ability and aptitude under similar conditions are Freedelivery, dropped 7lb for his first handicap run and with Alan Johns up, and Another Tuco.
