Bellewstown stages the second day of its closing September fixture, a more low key Flat card than Wednesday's extravaganza, and for punting purposes it is preferred to the hurdles and bumper card at Clonmel.
The best bets would appear to be early on the card, beginning with the opening Tara Stud Nursery Handicap (1.30). It is not a strong-looking contest and the search is on for a potentially well-handicapped one, and that may well be the Johnny Murtagh-trained Malacanne.
