It is competitive stuff and betting opportunities are not as plentiful as might be expected, but the Pertemps Network Group Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (3.15) may provide one in the Barry Connell-trained My Immortal.
This gelding did well in staying handicap hurdles last season, finishing within a few lengths of Hewick on good ground at Listowel, before showing his ground versatility when comfortably landing a 3m handicap hurdle on the inner track here in February on soft to heavy.
