Invitation Only can lead the way to Super Sunday glory
The Tote Super Sunday Pick 6 carries a guaranteed €50,000 at Navan on Sunday.
The opening 2m maiden hurdle (12.15) provides punters with their first head-scratcher of the day with many of the top stables represented. Admiral Chief arrived at Mouse Morris’s yard with a big reputation but could only manage seventh in a Thurles bumper last month. He can be expected to improve from that, and it would be no surprise if he were fighting out the finish with the Noel Meade-trained Joey Sasa and Punchestown bumper winner Cilaos Emery.
The following Grade 2 Navan Novice Hurdle (12.45) is equally as tricky but Invitation Only gets the vote. While we didn’t see a lot of his hurdling debut in the fog at Gowran Park, he was a top-notch bumper performer and looks open to major improvement. He could well develop into the stable's leading hope for the Neptune next March.
