Helfire looks a filly going places 9.00 Kempton

Hughie Morrison's filly appears to have started life in handicaps on a lenient mark after winning two of her three starts in that sphere and having excuses for the defeat.

Helfire did well to get up on her handicap debut at Windsor after not being ideally placed. She managed to get in a terrible position at Lingfield next time, but again kept on well to be third in a race won by Lajatico, who easily followed up. Helfire finally had a race run to suit when scoring readily stepped up to 7f at the same track last time.

I wouldn't worry about the return to 6f as she appears to be crying out for a long home straight and, although 5lb higher, it looks like she might be taking after 109-rated half-brother Realize, a prolific winner on the all-weather.

Hopefully there won't be much rain at Musselburgh
