Not thought to be at his best in the Racing Post Trophy last October, Chilean did it nicely when winning a Classic trial at Longchamp earlier this month. Twice successful on heavy ground, his action suggests he will be suited by a better surface.
Come On Tier made a favourable impression in a Nottingham maiden on good ground in November. He is well thought off, has had a wind op since and the market should be checked.
Hunting Horn got off the mark with a smooth if narrow victory at Naas. That was a slowly-run affair and on breeding he will be much better suited by a strong gallop in a larger field.
Ispolini was odds-on for Come On Tier's maiden where he was held in fourth after badly missing the start. He confirmed his potential when winning at Kempton in November and, given his stable riches, it is interesting that he is their choice for this event.
Jetstream finished last on his debut in July and had a wind operation before his successful return at Newcastle in February. His dam won at this level on four occasions in sprints and he is by Galileo.
Another who had his wind tinkered with during the winter, ran away with a Windsor novice event albeit on heavy ground. He was receiving 7lb from a couple of recent winners, but the weight hardly mattered such was the ease of his victory. With eight victories, this is an important trial for John Gosden.
Sovereign Duke got up close home in a novices stakes at Kempton in January which hasn't worked out. He has plenty on for his turf debut.
Stephensons Rocket showed promise on his debut over this course in September behind Crossed Baton, who won the Classic trial at Epsom on Wednesday. He is better judged on that as his Redcar success in October meant little.
A course winner last September, Wafy has a lot to live up to on pedigree. He found the ground a bit too quick when raised in class for a Group 3 at Newmarket in October and still has lots of potential.

In the 33-year history of this event, not many winners came direct from a handicap, but a Newbury Spring Cup winner and a Lincoln runner-up have made the leap forward to Group 2 winners.
looked different class in the Lincoln where the form could do with a boost. He seems sure to bridge the gap sooner rather than later and his Group 1 entries since Doncaster would confirm that.
Having won a handicap off 103 in May, Here Comes When caused a big shock when winning the Sussex Stakes in August where the soft ground was a huge factor. The forecast afternoon rain will be important to him.
Khafoo Shememi won a couple of Listed races over the course and distance last year and will be fit from a recent Dubai campaign. In Meydan he ran well in handicaps and now has his first Group race.
After two runs in decent events at Lingfield, Mr Owen drops back to a mile which has been his best trip. He's a triple Listed winner and this event isn't always the strongest Group 2.
Robin Of Navan has done all his winning in France, twice on good ground and twice on very soft. He was far from disgraced in the Earl of Sefton Stakes which had been the best guide for this, although not since 2005.
Last year's winner Sovereign Debt followed up under a penalty on Derby day at Epsom, but the extra weight was too much in further Pattern events. He doesn't have the benefit of any prep runs this year.
Gelded in August, Stormy Antarctic has since won both his starts in France where he relished the testing surface. He is sure to be a major factor with the ground likely to ride at least good to soft.
Aljazzi won the Atalanta Stakes here in August. She hasn't taken on the colts before and now tries to become the first successful mare since Penny Drops in 1994. She has a fine record when fresh.
