This lightly raced son of Camelot should have won the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot in June. He finished faster than anything else but was given too much to do from the rear by Ryan Moore.

That was a hot contest from which the sixth Nagano and seventh First Light are both subsequent winners. The former won a strong three-year-old handicap at Glorious Goodwood and has since been placed in a Group 3, while First Light landed a competitive event at Ascot.
