This ended up being a pretty interesting race as a few of the runners caught the eye in behind winner Light Brigade.

This gelding was one of two newcomers trained by Fran Flood for owner-breeder Tom McParland, long associated with the Flood family, and he showed enough ability to warrant respect in the future.
