1pt each-wayGodolphin may be giving it a miss this year, but Lingfield’s All-Weather Championships Finals Day is no less competitive without them as there are seven high-class and mostly difficult-to-fathom races to deal with.

There are no odds-on shots this year and only two jollies are likely to go off at shorter than 2-1. If you’re the type who likes to lump on a shorty I’d say Corinthia Knight (3.40) is likely to have it easier than Second Thought (4.10) but, as always, I’m far more tempted by the competitiveness of the other contests.

I certainly wouldn’t argue with Kachy being favourite for the Betway All-Weather Sprint Championships Conditions Stakes (3.05) as he did really well to get across from stall 11 to win a Listed race here last month, clearly likes the track and is much better berthed in trap five this time.
