'He's sure to feature' - Tom Collins believes conditions are ideal for sprinter

A straight 7f and soft ground are the ideal conditions for this six-year-old to thrive. Another Batt boasted plenty of speed early in his career but now finds shorter trips on the sharp side, while his last couple of outings proved he doesn't quite get a mile.

He looked right back to his best when he romped home by two-and-a-quarter lengths at Thirsk in May and although he hasn't performed badly in four subsequent starts the handicapper dropped him back to a mark that is just 1lb higher than for that success.
