Here Comes When springs Sussex surprise in Churchill's absence

>>Here Comes When touched no bigger than 25 in-running on Betfair on his way to a shock 20-1 victory in the Qatar Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.

The winner had been a best-priced 80-1 chance before the withdrawal of Churchill, which meant Ribchester went off 8-13 favourite. The market leader traded at 1.43 but was brushed aside before rallying for second.

Lightning Spear and Zelzal were also popular with in-running players, but couldn't sustain their challenges after being matched at lows of 1.49 and 1.42 respectively.
