With the cold snap impacting turf meetings, proceedings at Dundalk were monitored a little more closely and the juvenile maidens run there last week have the potential to produce a few winners.

The conditions contest run last Wednesday provides a good case in point. Luke Comer's charges have been in pretty decent form over the winter, and this home-bred son of Dick Whittington was the third string of the trainer's three runners in this race, but arguably demonstrated the most promise.
