'He was second last year, he loves the mud and the race suits him'

Anthony Honeyball, trainer of Sam Brown
He'll have an entry for the Many Clouds. If he doesn't go there then we'd look at the Welsh National.

Paul Nicholls, trainer of Truckers Lodge, Yala Enki and Worthy Farm
We were going to go to the Ladbrokes Trophy but because the ground was a bit quicker, we thought we'd keep Truckers Lodge nice and fresh for the Welsh National, which is where he'll go. He was second last year and he's a bit higher [in the handicap] now, but he loves the mud and the race suits him. Yala Enki will go to the Becher Chase. Worthy Farm has had a few little issues since he ran at Wincanton so he's not sure to run. Danny Whizzbang runs on Saturday but he doesn't want really testing ground. The main one for us is Truckers Lodge.

Joe Tizzard, son and assistant to Colin, trainer of Copperhead, Native River, Lamanver Pippin and Christmas In April
The Ladbrokes Trophy is Copperhead's main target and we'll decide what to do after that. We plan on taking Native River to the Many Clouds and we'll get Aintree out of the way then assess him. He's got a high mark but he's well suited to Chepstow, he's entered but he's not a definite runner. Lamanver Pippin has form at Chepstow and was third in a National Hunt Chase. He had a lovely comeback run so we're looking forward to him taking his chance. Christmas In April does well in the National-type races and he could take a step forward.
