'He was incredibly impressive' - Tom Segal takes on the hot Boodles favourite

Brazil
4.50 Cheltenham
1pt win

One of the most fascinating runners of the whole festival has to be Gaelic Warrior in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (4.50). It's pretty ridiculous that a horse no one has seen on a British or Irish racecourse is 5-2 favourite to win a 22-runner handicap at Cheltenham.

If there is one horse that I hope doesn't win this week it's him because it basically takes all the intuition and fun out of the game and turns it into one of who you know. I'm sure all the punters that have backed him won't give a damn and, given his connections, he's almost certainly got at least a stone in hand, but this is still a race where luck plays a part and he will need some.
